行競科技猛攻電動車商機,電池冷卻技術趕超國際

電動車的發展顛覆了既有產業供應鏈及消費者行為,除汽車供應鏈面臨著轉型和抉擇,半導體、資通訊、材料及新創業者等各產業更是視其為事業發展的新動能,此外,次世代技術的研發,也成為台廠在戰國時代有機會搶得先機的關鍵。

浸沒式冷卻電池技術廠商行競科技共同創辦人暨執行長洪裕鈞表示,行競於2013年開始投入電動車研發,當時Tesla已經推出Roadster、因此在個電動車發展的過程中,行競從不缺席。

看著電動車產業一路走來,從伊始的由油轉電,再到如今追求的更高電壓、更快的充電效能,核心技術問題也從馬達轉變成電池的安全性。

如今不論是車廠或是消費者對於電動電池、充電的要求除了快之外,耐用性的需求也愈來愈高。畢竟電池成本所費不貲,此時,溫度控管的方法與成效成為影響結果的關鍵因素。

洪裕鈞表示,快充雖然是現在車廠、車主亟欲求的領域,但是充意味電池所產生的熱能會有所增加,當電池過熱的時候便容易出現效能降低、壽命減短,如再遇到穿刺等意外,則不排除起火等風險。

行競科技的IMMERSIO™ XM25浸沒式冷電池系統,已於2022年第4季實商業化穩定量產。行競科技也在2023歐洲電展分享全新無模組(CTP)浸沒式冷卻電池系統設計概念,和IMMERSIO™ XM25浸沒式冷卻電池實應用案例,拓展台灣製造的高壓電池系統於全球供應鏈。

行競科技表示,連三天的2023歐洲電池展吸納不少汽車、儲能產業目光,其中ESS廠商的詢問量比起2022歐洲電池展期間還增加了2倍以上。

洪裕鈞也透露,目前有許多車廠正在與行競洽談中,雖然多數因為簽署NDA的關係,所以尚無法公開資訊,但其中包含世界前五大車廠。

另有電池供應鏈業者透露,德系車對於浸沒式等次世代電池冷卻技術的好奇度相當高昂再加上德系車廠以安全、效能為招牌,因此在未來3~5年看到採用類似電池冷卻技術的車款並不無可能。
