Buyer Assistant / Specialist

Taipei / Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Responsible for placing, searching, comparing, and negotiating orders for materials in case of shortages.

2. Tracking and managing delivery schedules, and coordinating with suppliers for any changes in delivery dates.

3. Developing, establishing, and maintaining relationships with new suppliers and materials.

4. Handling contract processes and conducting business negotiations.

5. Compiling and updating daily delivery schedules and procurement-related reports.

6. Assisting in organizing and providing materials for customers and suppliers.

7. Updating data in the ERP system.

8. Collaborating to solve departmental and procurement-related issues.

9. Managing import and export processes.

10. Handling tasks assigned by superiors.


Qualifications and Requirements:

 

1. Self-motivated.

2. Detail oriented.

3. Logical thinking.

4. Team player.

5. Microsoft Office tool skill is required.

6. Able to communicate/read/write in English.

7. Experience: At least 2 years of supply chain management or procurement experience.
8. Preferred: IT, automobile, and energy industry background.
